I am a studio artist interested in human behavior, literature, and belief systems. My works are a reflection of my attitude towards these ideas, and I use them as tools to know how I think and process my thoughts. While working, I study how my temperament and materials affect the way I paint to maintain an awareness of things that interest me and give me a sense of both awe and unease towards life in general.
Rinne Abrugena (b. 1983) graduated from the University of the Philippines Diliman College of Fine Arts in 2011. She lives and works in Quezon City, Philippines.
